The OCHCVAP Hotline has been set up and is maintained by the Orange County Human Relations Commission. The idea behind the hotline is to give victims of hate crimes easy access to a live person who can listen and offer the right assistance.
What to Expect
When you call 1-888-NO-2-HATE (1-888-662-4283) during business hours, you will speak to a live person, not a recording. That person will listen to your case and either refer you to a specialized hate crime victim assistance coordinator or take your contact information and you will receive a call by the next business day by someone who can assist you further. If you call after business hours, you may leave a message and you will be contacted the next business day.
